Dr. Nachiket Bhatia, DBMCI CEO, is known for donning several hats and spearheading the realms of medical e-learning at our revered institution. His father founded DBMCI, which spurred his enthusiasm for entrepreneurship and explains his excellence in leadership. His inquisitiveness and knack for finding the best continue to make DBMCI stand out among other medical institutions.
Who knew this prodigy could cause the fortunes of DBMCI to turn around - from a 5 Cr. loss-making company to a 77 Cr. profit generating business. All this was achieved by believing that technology can revolutionise education, together with his inventive skills.
But this victory wasn’t earned the easy way. He understood the challenges as an MBBS student himself. He realized that DBMCI needs to adapt and grow in the future to offer career-fulfilling chances to the next generation. This has guided all DBMCI operations since.
He knew the potential of digital learning and integrated it with DBMCI’s modes of teaching across India. DBMCI's innovative concept reached semi-urban and rural areas. Dr. Bhatia's unwavering dedication to training the world's future doctors led to all of these accomplishments. His determination and dedication to improving education helped DBMCI's pupils succeed in entrance exams over the last decade.
He sees DBMCI's major purpose as improving education, especially for the vulnerable. Education for everybody has been his motto. His actions reinforce this idea. He offered free classes to a limited set of poor students, launched the Dr. Bhatia Scholarship Fund worth over 1 million rupees to empower vulnerable students, and provided free coaching to kids who suffered due to the Ukraine war. DBMCI also offers 2.5 crores to pupils who lost their parents to COVID and 2 crores to EWS students. Learning should never end, which motivates him.
Through eGurukul, DBMCI educates budding doctors in India at an affordable cost. His team's passion and expertise have established online education as DBMCI's primary model of education, and the slogan "Bhatia hai to bharosa hai" is circulating in the education industry.
Dr. Bhatia aspires to make DBMCI a top medical school and change the brick-and-mortar coaching approach. DBMCI will enter new industries, including nursing, NEET-UG, UPSC-CSE, and others, through edtech to boost market resiliency and cultivate more diverse talent.
